FAQ

Frequently asked questions about The Furnace.

Is launching free?

Yes. You only pay network gas on Robinhood Chain. There is no launch fee.

What is $FURNACE?

$FURNACE is the protocol token for Foragepad. 50% of fees Foragepad receives are routed to the Buyback Vault, which market-buys and permanently burns $FURNACE — making supply deflationary as platform volume grows.

Can I launch without deploying contracts?

The frontend runs in preview mode without NEXT_PUBLIC_FACTORY_ADDRESS. You can explore the wizard and UI; live launches require deployed contracts.

Where is my token metadata stored?

On IPFS via Pinata when PINATA_JWT is configured, otherwise inline JSON in the metadata URI.

How do I find a token?

Paste a 0x address in the header search, or search by symbol/name when contracts are live. Browse Pulse or Explore.

What is USDG and when should I use it?

USDG is Robinhood Chain's stablecoin (Global Dollar). On instant launches you can pick a USDG pair instead of WETH so market caps and seed buys are dollar-denominated. Traders swap with USDG on the token page. WETH pairs are still the default for memecoins and work best with GMGN/DexScreener. See Launch docs for details.

How do I claim fees routed to my X or GitHub handle?

Go to /claim, log in with the matching account, connect your wallet, and click Claim to my wallet. See Claim docs.

Can I launch via tweet?

Yes — tweet @Foragepad launch $SYMBOL "Token Name". See Tweet Launch docs.

What is a Ponzi launch?

An instant WETH pool with a configurable transfer tax. You choose the tax rate and what share goes to holders vs your wallet. See Token Profiles.

Is this financial advice?

No. The Furnace is a hobby build. Tokens are highly speculative. Do your own research.
